From Vladivostok to Moscow in 7 days
FESCO starts sending accelerated container trains between Vladivostok and Moscow as part of the Transsib project in 7 days
The FMS-Express service is organized within the framework of the project of the Russian railway company JSC "Russian Railways" – "Transsib in 7 days", the technology of which involves accelerated movement of trains from the departure station to the destination station, without stops. This scheme makes it possible to reduce the transit time along the Trans-Siberian Railway from 11 days, during which FESCO provides cargo delivery within its existing services, to 7 days, and also increase the route speed from an average of 830 km per day to more than 1,000 km per day. In addition, the implementation of the successful launch of FMS-Express was facilitated by the use of electronic document management and preliminary customs declaration of shipped goods.
