HMM buys terminals in Tokyo and Kaohsiung

Hyundai Merchant Marine intends to buy container terminals in the port of Tokyo and Kaohsiung, which previously belonged to the bankrupt Hanjin Corporation, TASS reports. The transaction value will be about $13.15 million.

The capacity of the Aomi Container Terminal in Tokyo is about 500 thousand TEU, Hanjin Kaohsiung Container Terminal is 1.5 million TEU.
